my philosophy

By honing in on our unique approach to living a well-rounded life, we are able to reconnect with ourselves & continuously heal, nourish, and navigate the world from a resourced place.

The routines we create help us access a sense of deep connection, abundance, and empowerment. Our tools are consciously and unconsciously shared energetically and literally with everyone we meet, leading to a greater impact on Mother Earth.

my story

When I began formally studying Plant Medicine in 2021 I did not know that I was Native American. Born in a military hospital and adopted at 3 days old, I grew up in Virginia with white, Southern Baptist parents. Once I was able to deconstruct from over 20 years of Evangelical Christian indoctrination, my eyes and heart began to open.

The plants introduced me to a world of boundaried love, respect, nurturing, and abundance. They guided me on my path - we grew Yarrow, Dandelion, and Milky Oats along the way.

In 2022 after 10+ years of searching, I was able to find and connect with my Paternal birth family. In 2023 I met my birth grandmother who was born and raised on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. We traveled there together that summer and she introduced me to my cousins, aunts, and uncles who live there now. My family are White Eyes “Ishta Ska” of the Oglala Lakota, Sioux, and Cheyenne tribes.

It is my honor and immense privilege to practice herbal medicine under my family name. Everything I do is a direct reflection of my ancestors’ knowledge, connection, and collective teachings. I strive only to give back in equal measure the immense abundance I have been gifted, to help others succeed, and to bring more awareness to life on Pine Ridge so that we might make plant medicine (the very same treatments I offer to my clients) fully accessible to those living on the rez.
